Our company

‘Solartechnik Stiens’ is Germany’s largest solar specialist. The proprietor Georg Stiens founded the company in 2004. Over the years, the number of employees has grown from 2 to over 140. These staff members work in branch offices throughout Germany. Since 2006, the company’s head office has been based in the Papierfabrik district of Kaufungen. Last year, the company was able to install a total solar output of 80mWp on customers’ roofs.

Services

The services we offer include free, no-obligation initial consultation with a site analysis. Stiens realises the operation of solar plants from planning and installation to after-care and maintenance. In addition, our specialists support customers in selecting fund applications and insurance schemes to ensure that the plant remains a secure investment in future.

Pioneering work

As a pioneer in the world of solar power, Stiens is not restricted to the marketing of photovoltaics. It also develops new innovations, such as the revolving buildings of the company’s solar centres, which constantly turn to face the sun at the perfect angle. The energy specialist also offers partnership systems for joint public solar investments. Customers can invest in these plants from a minimum investment of €15,000. To encourage the environmentally friendly disposal of products, the company became an official collection point for solar panel recycling on 1 July 2010.
