Rent out your roof surfaces - to us and to the sun

Don’t let your roof surfaces go to waste - bring in additional income by renting out unused surfaces for a photovoltaicphotovoltaic
The term photovoltaic (PV) is made up of photon (Greek for light) and the name of physicist Alessandro Volta (Volt). Photovoltaic (solar power) is the direct conversion of light power into electrical power or generation of power from sunlight. Light power (photons) hit the silicon crystal grid of a doped semi-conductor, releasing charge carriers that can be used for power generation.
plant installation.

Secure and long-term rental agreements (with a minimum duration of 20 years, with an optional extension of 5 years) can guarantee calculable income with no investment risk. On top of this, having a solar power plant on your roof also displays your dedication to protecting the environment.

Your roof should be at least 500 sq. m. in size (1500 sq. m. for flat roofs), free from shade and in good structural condition. Roofs must have an inclination of 0-40° and must be south-facing (+/- 40°). Rent your roof out to the sun!

1. General information about citizen-funded PV installations
Company type
The concept of a citizen-funded PV installation requires the formation of an operating company of the legal type 'GmbH & Co. KG'. Solarkraftwerk Stiens GmbH becomes a general partner (= partner with unlimited liability).
Investment amount
Every investor may participate in the company as a limited partner (= limited to the investment deposit only) with a minimum deposit of €15,000.
Investor target group
This form of corporate participation is aimed at investors looking for a long-term financial investment in the field of renewable energiesrenewable energies
Renewable energies are those energy sources that are available without limitation. Renewable energies include: Solar power, wind power, geothermal heat, tide power and biomass. A study of the Federal government shows that 65% of the power consumption in Germany could be covered from renewable energies by 2050.
. The deployed capital is repaid over several years. The opportunity is therefore not suitable for investors seeking ongoing or equal payouts or a single repayment at final maturity.
Source and use of funds
Approx 30% of the investment amount is financed from shareholder contributions, and approx. 70% from a loan taken out by the operating company.
Choice of location and quality assurance
The employees of Solartechnik Stiens GmbH & Co. KG check the cost efficiencyefficiency
The efficiencies achieved with solar cells in photovoltaics range from a few percent (e.g. about 6 percent for cadmium-telluride solar modules) up to more than 35 percent (concentrator multi-layer lab version) or 40 percent (CIS-based thin-film module). The efficiencies of common solar modules on the market are between 6 percent (silicon-based thin-film modules) and 20 percent (monocrystalline modules).

The feed-in reimbursement (EEG) guaranteed by law ensures calculable income over 20 years and, subsequently, additional revenue from the sale of electricity. A photovoltaicphotovoltaic

system has a performance guarantee lasting up to 25 years. The average operating life is 35 years. This long runtime ensures long-term returns. The average annual profit payout amounts to approx. 5-7%.
